What is Brailes Parish Council?
The Parish council is comprised of 7 councilors, elected from the Parish of Brailes. The election to Brailes Parish Council is held every 4 years, the last election was held in 2006.

The Council meets once a month. Meeting dates will be published on the diary section of the Parish Website. Residents of the Parish are welcome to attend these public meetings and are invited to speak to the Council at the beginning of the meeting, usually 7.30pm.
The Parish Council is responsible for :-
- Street lighting in the village
- mowing of the village greens
- administering the Burial Ground
- examining and commenting upon all planning applications in the Parish
- The Parish Council are the Custodian Trustees of the Village Hall and Playing Field
The Council grants funds to projects in the Village, such as the children's play area and proposed skate board area, gives an annual grant to the Village Hall and playing field, and Brailes Churchyard - and recently the First Responders Scheme has been a recipient.
The Council also reports to other public bodies such as the Warwickshire County Council and Stratford District Council on any issues in the Parish that are their responsibility.
